I think school uniforms should be mandatory in Korea for a number of reasons.
First, they make everyone equal. In this way, the rich students are on the same level as the poor ones.
No ne will fellembarrassed because he or she is not wearing designer labels.
Also, students' parents will not feel pressurde to buy the latest fashions in shirts, jeans, of shoes.
Secondly, getting ready for school becomes much easier.
Many students who do not wear uniforms waste their time deciding what to wear.
If they wear uniforms, they do not have to think about their clothes.
All that is needed is to have a few pairs so that one uniform is always clean.
